Strongbark -I have a friend in Chicago who has an E46 M3 and is mightily tempted by the new one. I'll see if I can get him on here.

I am a soon to be F80 owner here in Chicago area (AY with black 19", CF roof, full black leather interior, DCT, steel brakes). I am doing PCD on Sept. 3 and will be back on Sept. 4.

Going to enjoy the last few weeks with my SSII E93 - have had it for 6 years - excited about new ride but going to miss my E93 - will always love that car!

Congrats! Enjoy your new car. I got my car F82 about a month ago and I LOVE IT! Had the E92 before... an excellent car... but... the M4 is so much better!

Nice to see more M3/M4's in Chicago area being delivered - I've only seen two "in the wild" so far - was a YMB M3 going from southbound 294 to I-55 South down by Indian Head Park in June - and Lupsie's AY M4 last week.

Will be nice to start seeing more - mine is still 2 weeks away...

Hey Strongbark, I think I may have passed you a few weeks ago at Perillo (your car description fits the car I saw). I gave you the thumbs up

as I drove by in my white E89 Z4. I just ordered my M4 on allocation starting in October and delivery set for January (also from Perillo). It was such a hard choice between MW and SO but I eventually felt I wanted a change from my MW Z4 and went down the SO route.

Does anyone know any BMW or M4 meetings in the Chicago area? it would be fun to meet up.
