23.1 MPG. 60% highway/ 40% city. Drive approx 80 mph on the highway with lots of full throttle take-offs. I’m tuned with BM3 OTS 91.

Wow, seems like some of you barely drive the car with 18+ mpg numbers. 😊
12000 miles, 11.2 mpg, like 90% highway. 😂 I cannot not push her every time I drive. I've also worked out that at max fun, it's about a tank of fuel an hour. Last edited by wasya152; 09-14-2021 at 10:08 PM.. |

Depends on the time of year. Winter sees low 20s and summer sees mid to high teens. After 4+ years of ownership I still don't care about mpg because the amount of smiles per mile are still high. I am enjoying this car as much as my NSX and have the ability to carry my family.

Mostly 70/30 City/Highway so I'm averaging around 19.6mpg, echoing the same sentiments that it would be nice to have a larger tank.
When I was following my friend across the state in his Nissan, I left the cruise control on, Comfort, 55mph, and hit 29.8mpg

22.7mpg, mostly in town not really pushing it. When I do have the chance I like to get on it just not much opportunity on the daily commute. I don't attempt to get good mpg but it doesn't hurt, a lot more fun when the mpg is down around 15 though.

About 18MPG in mixed driving, 25-28MPG during long east coast trips doing left lane speed. S55 is pretty efficient compared to previous N/A M engines.
I do care what MPG I am getting when planning fuel stops on long trips since the usable range is barely 300 miles. One time, just to test it out, I pushed it to 350 miles when range was almost 0. filled it with 14 gallons afterward (15.6 is total capacity per spec sheet). Like the other person mentioned, I wish they had optional long range tank, but I guess they have to make do with the regular 3 series fuel tank. |

+1 on the too small tank. I'm averaging 22 after 3 years which is great IMO but it's still hard to eek out 300 miles on a tank. The 36gal tank on my F150 has spoiled me.

20mpg BM3 Stage 2 mixed driving. It feels like a Prius compared to my E92 M3 getting me like 14mpg LOL
