Yes. That would be the warning part of 'Lane Departure Warning'.

Used navigation for the first time. Learned that if you are in a phone call, the other person can't hear the navigation directions. Not sure if it was as simple as it cutting out the mic. I can't recall if I was ever talking when directions came up on the speakers. My wife she didn't hear any not was my voice ever cut off while talking.

The microphone on the M3/4 is a thing of beauty. On my previous car the person on the phone heard everything. On the M3/4 the mic only pics up natural voice sounds. You will not hear the Nav or any other noise. There may be some faint noise but that's all. Sometimes I'll talk to my wife in her F80 and I could swear it sounds like she is in her office.

Now that you mention it, I called my brother as well and he noted that he heard absolutely no road noise. Very cool!

Drove my M4 about 1,000 Miles This Week

Had to make a last minute drive to Toronto for work this week (Air Canada cancelled my flight Sunday afternoon and there were no other options).

Drove about 1,000 miles rt, the M4 was amazing.

Averaged 28MPG @ ~80MPH w/DCT -- always surprised how much I don't miss shifting.

Forgot to post this...but the fact you can shift with the center console shift knob in the DCT car was totally lost on me the first few weeks...so many ways to drive this thing lol

Yes. My point is that the system "encourages" you to use the turn indicators and not just lane change without indicating.

And it feels so natural shifting it this way.

I love it. I wanted a 6MT, but at the end of the day 15k+ miles/year, two kids in the back, heavy traffic, etc., the DCT made more sense, so it's nice they incorporated this in

I think the Connected app remembers which car you last drove/was paired with because every time I open the app it's already selected the correct car. Kinda nice.

Silly but I discovered that the MODE button on my steering wheel actually is a button! I thought it was a text for the little scroll-wheel that's next to it. But the actual MODE button is a button! haha... silly

I've had my 2016 M3 for coming up on a year...and I've learned, while I LOVE the way it looks (especially now modded)...I don't particularly enjoy driving it like I did my E92 M3; I'm not having much fun. I thought I would grow into it, but it's not happening.

I may be in the very small minority, but it doesn't "feel" special. First world problems, right?

Are you tuned? the car is a truly different animal once tuned; even completely stock.

Yes I am, Stage 2 flash, GTS diff and steering coding, CS EDC coding. The car is blistering fast for being stock aside from the tune.

Haven't yet, need to take driving class first. However, I'm learning how to fly and that takes priority over driving classes

A lot of people probably knew this already,
But i found out the center arm rest can slide back and forth to adjust for your elbows comfort
