the high end system for 3 and 4 series will come from bowers & wilkins (b&w).
they build much better speakers than b&o.

i have seen it in the last ETK version where is the new SA in.

nice... even down to the side intake they used CF parts.

agreed with many other voices here - they listened to us enthusiasts about the design finally

very pleased with the concept and looking forward even more to seeing if the sedan will have as much CF goodies and if they will offer a competition package on the sedan a bit sooner in production!

Actually after seeing this M badged 4 series I think they are happy!

Next car is a P-car for me....

Don't like the direction "m" has taken.

I've seen this before.... And I had to give my 1M some time for the snout to grow on me. This is no E30, but ugh. U-G-L-Y.

I think you and I have different definitions of what "quite a bit" is. While they're technically different, they both have the same basic design elements.

With the latest M Sport aero packet models. You can determine how the M will look like bar minor changes such as reversed intakes and more function after all its an M. See the M4 , M5 and M6 for details.

The wheels are actually new and continue that angular approach which started with the M6 Gran Coupe. These are the production wheels for M3 and M4 with another option available as well as Winter equipped wheels.

yeah, me 2.

new 3 series is horrible looking from the front because of it (a little better with Mpack). 4 series doesn't look any better.

Nice, very nice. But I def want to see it in real life. Not to keen on the wheels for the concept but those can be changed. Decisions will be made come 2015.

I have to say this is the one thing that bothers me about the current direction, the whole M Performance thing. I appreciated the significant styling differences between a regular 3er and the M3, so feel like the cosmetic bits available to regular 3/4 cars dilutes the M brand. Kind of what Porsche used to do with its "Turbo-look" 911.

Pedestrian safety requirements no doubt. It creates an impact crush zone on the bumper between the hood, in attempt to prevent it from directly axing into their leg.
yes but look at merc and audi. their front fascia is their only strong point. also look at 5 series - much much better looking front then 3 series.

Boost is a step in the right direction. High revving V8's here in the USdoesn't make as much sense. I've wanted a boosted car since I sold my B5 S4 over a decade ago.

Are you sure about this? It would be odd for BMW to move away from Bang & Olufsen so soon but I agree that Bowers & Wilkins does make better speakers.

Looks amazing. Everything I could have hoped for an more. Let's just hope the performance and feel match up. I have no doubt. Only question is when can I order one.

i think it looks good, despite the miserable color. the blue one posted earlier looks way better

I like the front and back a lot, still not sure about the side as much.

lots of high points, with the only real low point to me being the wheels. I hate the design of these wheels. ZCP wheels for me please.

I definitely don't love it. The side curtain design is pretty busy on the rear end. The M4 looks like its trying so hard with the side curtains and the lip.. I'm left disappointed as I thought the M4 would look more like the M6 not the 1M.... Maybe the M3 will look better

Love it!

Color is nice too! Finally got some solid BMW Performance products and will most likely be accessories that you can add to the purchase of after the purchase.

I like the front lip spoiler. Kind of similar to my X6M's lip spoiler from BMW Performance with the gap.

I did read that, and again the flares in front are obvious when doing a side by side:

But the rear, when compared here with the series model, doesnt appear to be any wider. This would also follow suite with the M5, and M6 where both only get wider front fenders:
