yes. MB wants you to buy not lease AMG cars. plus look at the resale value on AMG in general (besides the G Class).

My issue with C63 has always been it blends wayy too much into crowds. It is a GREAT car but I personally believe, if it is a true performance car, it should at least look like it, or have better hints of it.

Now the new C63 Coupe looks perfect for a Benz. That's how the 4 door C63 should have been.

Depending on what you would need though, a full on daily I think C63 would be better. If you want a bit more fun and people looking at you + the option for mods M4. M4 is just noisy if you don't mind that or like it.

At that point I would rather finance a new Z06. Not to mention the car looks BLAH. Besides the interior, the whole car doesn't have presence and appeal. It's boring, and looks like a C300 with an AMG kit to everyone except enthusiasts. \

Did I mention you can't get any other color besides the blah chocies of 10 blacks, 10 grays, and 10 whites

AMG leases are terrible. Even at the wholesale market, you will see much more M's than AMG's. So it is true, MB wants you (and is forcing you essentially) to buy the car. which is dam shame. I tried to get into an e63 about a year ago, they wanted like 10k down, for 1444 a month.

I'm dying to know how often M3/M4 owners take their Ms to the track versus driving on streets. I bet majority is driven on the streets. These cars are made for streets that are capable on track. OP, long time BMW owner, just said after driving the 2 cars back to back, he'd choose the Mercedes if the payment wasn't the factor. I don't understand these forum members who think M3/4 is much better "sports car" because it's faster than the C63 by tenth of a second on a track. Please get this; we spend most of our time in these car on the streets. A tenth of a second faster car doesn't make a better car.

to someone who mentioned about C63 being at a local starbucks, I see 20 M3/4s at starbucks parking lot before seeing 1 C63 right here in Edgewater NJ, the center of hipsters and show-offs in NJ.

I currently have 3 BMWs and a Honda in my garage and I'm looking to getting into a M4 in a few years. But I would not cross C63 off my list because some women think it's an old person's car.

And I agree on MB leases be exuberant, but I guess its their way of making up for the huge depreciation hit AMG cars take?

Definitely not old persons car, lol. C63 coupe looks like a beast in person. Best looking coupe in the segment. M3 is by far best looking sedan.
