Question ► Tire Fiment (Non BMW Related)

wheel experts, what would be max comtorable tire size for the following rim setup on a macan:

OEM:
- Front: 9 J x 21 RO 26 with 265/40/21
- Rear: 10 J x 21 RO 19 with 295/35/21

finding wider tires for this car is a major pita:

Front: 285/45/21
Rear: 325/40/21
^ would this work?

How would we know this? The only way we can judge anything is based on your wheel / tire size and how they relate to each other.

Your 10inch wheel with a 325 would not be ideal, 295 is the most I'd go on a 10'' usually, but since your sidewall is thick, I'd say 305 to keep your ratios the same. in the front I wouldn't go more than a 275. If you want to keep it similar to OEM ratios for front / rear heights, then you should run a 275/40/21 front and 305/35/21 rear. Only issue is I doubt you can find those sizes like you said..

The tire size you listed is a gamble, the setup will be close to an inch taller front and back. You run the risk of rubbing if you are lowering or if the porsche has fender liners / shocks / springs that are close to the tire like how our Ms are.
