I have these on my car and they look fantastic! Install was easy, took me 30 minutes and the paddles are top-notch quality!

They need to post a lot more installed pics from different angles - hard to get a feel for how they 'sit' in the car. My gut feel is telling me that the perforated look is a bit at odds with theres of the interior i.e. nothing OEM in there looks remotely like them and thus they maybe stand out too much?

More to the point though, whats your honest opinion on functionality - a real improvement or mostly cosmetic?

EAS lists these as available in black or clear anodized, with or without holes, and red or standard +/- inserts, but I have only ever seen the perforated version with std insert?

For the F8x paddles they all are going to have the holes and silver + and -. I think the ones you are referring to are the E9x ones which have more options.

Doubled checked and the description is off a bit. Thanks for bringing to my attention. To clarify they only come with holes. They dont come color filled but should have a problem adding on the color fill for $15.

They provide an improvement in functionality through the extended bottom part. You can now click a paddle with your hand in the 8 or 4 position, which is sometimes useful in DD/traffic etc. Also they feel more rigid than stock ones, although the top part extension is so far away from the mechanism, that there is some flexing when clicking by the top corner. What I dislike is the polished finish in the "cutout" portion. Still they look a lot cooler than OEM or Autoteknic which are way too narrow compared to the extended length.
