If they can keep the price right, it’s going to be a killer!

~$60k starting is the confirmed price, as I understand it. Can't get more right

Me neither, but at some point the formula outweighs brand identity, and typical presuppositions start to look foolish. C7 started that process. Think they might be there now.

Kinda looks like what would happen if one crossbred a Ferrari 488 with a late model NSX.

Man, this is ticking all the boxes for me. I have a feeling I’ll have a Corvette in the driveway in the foreseeable future... They have a configuration tool already (without prices), this thing is gorgeous!

Lately i've been criticizing Lotus for not sticking with their heritage and instead "selling-out" to the whole multimullion dollar hyper car business model.

The C8 is EXACTLY what it means to push the performance and innovation bar while also remaining close to your roots. Huge respect to Chevrolet and the Corvette team for pulling this off, the whole team should be extremely proud for delivering!!

I’m really impressed and definitely will consider, especially upcoming GS and Z06 models

And that price wow. It seems like they delivered an all out no excuses sports car while keeping the “Everyman” pricing

It almost seems to good to be true

When I heard the sub 3sec 0-60 time, I didn't believe it. But if Car&Driver can get 3.0sec with new 992 Carrera S with 443hp/390tq weighing 3995lbs. Certainly is possible with the new C8.

It will be repeatable like Porsche, that DCT and launch control magic(+ more weight over rear wheels).

Very impressed, after the GT350 this is the first US made car I would consider owning. The price is ridiculous! I'm sure there will be massive dealer markups at first, but the M2 comp and Supra should be looking fearfully over their shoulder. Only slight ding on it is no manual trans and sounds like there may not be one.
