My fav was his blue CS. He likely sold it cuz of the wavy CS hood

Car is being shipped to him tomorrow to CA. For the record, all the CS hoods from the factory that I've seen, including my new M4CS, have a slight variation.

And don't jack my thread with that delicious GTS

Interesting story. I had absolutely no plans of selling the M3. It was 3 months post factory 4 year warranty with 24k miles. Had plans of keeping it till the next M arrived. P car was never on my radar because of the price point of the P cars I liked (911 Turbo and GT Cars). Never cared for the 911. I had absolutely no idea about the Cayman. A friend encouraged me to look at them and I started going around test driving some Flat 6 Cayman S’s (981) and instantly fell in love. The handling was on another level compared to the M3. However I couldn't get past how much slower it was in a straight line compared to the M and how dated the interior looked as well. But then by chance I stumbled upon the GTS and it pretty much checked every box out there. It has only 15 more HP on paper compared to S but honestly it felt way way faster and with the PSE, the amazing Alcantara interior, I totally fell in love. Plus at any gives time there are only a dozen 981 GTS’s available in the country so they hold their value really well incase I want to switch. After negotiating the price on the GTS, I told the dealer I wanted to trade the M3. Dealer offered 42k for my car but I strong armed them into giving me 46 which was pretty good considering it was past factory warranty. I figured private party would fetch me max 50k so the savings in taxes would make up for that. So that’s petty much it. Have had a blast since then. Added catted headers and it sounds even more glorious now. I don’t care for the current gen Flat 4’s at all. Huge mistake by Porsche. If you are ever in the area, you can take it for a spin.
