I daily a '15 Prius. I had a '10 Prius before.

My weekend car is a Porsche 911 Turbo S... but I miss manual, so looking to eventually get back into an M car (almost an M6'd but backed out last second). I have a Wrangler, but it's basically used as a buggy (going through an engine swap here shortly).

That applies to me too when I get mine. I do a lot of business travelling and work from home a lot too. My 335 is 2 years old, and has only 13k miles on it. So I really don't drive that much anyway.

Plus, I won't even put snow tires on mine. In the winter, I'll just drive my wife's SUV. She's a stay at home and doesn't work anyway, so that's always available to me.

I've got a Fozzy myself, but it's the XT. It is good but far from great in snow, which my guess is the wheel/tire combo at fault. As the winter gets closer I will be putting different rubber on - what do you have fitted in the winter? I think that is the issue on the XT with 18" Bridgestone tires on it.

I think the brakes could use a small upgrade, and I'm thinking winter rubber is a must for it, but otherwise it is a great dd.

For local drives (less than 20 miles or so one way) I take the Fiat 500e (electric). For hauling my bike or surfboard I take the Santa Fe. For nights on the town with lots of people (family), I take the Panamera or S class. For just a sweet fun drive to a nice place for just 2, I take the i8. M is my canyon drives and cruising the beach car. =)

85% of the time, it's the Santa Fe or the Fiat though. haha

The M3 is my daily driver, but it hardly qualifies as a beater.

The Kia Sportage I got from Enterprise and was driving while waiting for the M3 to arrive ... Yeah, that was a beater! (sorry Enterprise!!!)

My M4 is my daily driver, but on the weekends I romp around in the desert or the coastline of Baja California in my expedition-ready Tacoma. Put that winch to good use over the weekend at the Corral Canyon OHV area!

I've got the Blizzak WS80 on the Subie and it's wonderful on snow. Up here, we get a lot of snow and it never got stuck or even spinned once. Yes your problem are the tyres, get some good winter rubber and love the snow

Yup, will get new tire/wheel pkg sometime during this summer or fall. What are the wheel specs / tire specs you run w/ the WS80's? Are you using the factory 16" wheels?

Thanks for the input - my Infiniti G was more sure-footed in the winter we had than the Forester, which surprised me - it wasn't a good weather winter here in NJ/NY. I had to believe the tires at fault, but wasn't driving it much at all this winter so didn't buy a cold weather pkg and figured I would look into it this year.

I got 225s on 17 inch rims for winter. For summer I use the factory 18s, seems to work great.

Got to ask about your cars. Why three with the same 6.2L engine? Why the 2008 Boxster, 328i and C350? They seem a little out of place with the others
