driving gear recommendations?

Hi all, I need to buy my first set of driving gear (suit, gloves, shoes) to compete in an enduro.

Any advice, especially for those in hot weather areas?

Also, has anyone used the "black armor" CF helmets?

I ended up getting a gear bundle from WRR, along with a HANS 3

Here is the link in case anyone is interested in the future

COOL SHIRT!!!

I can't believe I raced a whole season without one a few years ago. I can remember a race a while back when there was a big crash and all the the rest of us had to sit and wait on grid for the restart for like 40 minutes in 100 degree heat. I seriously was ready to tap out, the only reason I didn't was that my 70 year dad was sitting there also in his race car and if I quit I would've NEVER heard the end of it!

Hey, good luck in the enduro and have fun!

if you are looking to try stuff on, pitstop usa has an office in petaluma. it's a bit of a drive (and they are only open on weekdays), but I was able to try on a range of stuff since they have pretty good inventory. although i was only buying gloves and helmet, i did see a lot of shoes and suits as well.

Thanks! I'm pretty excited as this is my first time w2w in a car

I got my SM as a used complete car and I'm going to make sure I like the class before I retrotfit a cooling system. The thought did cross my mind after doing a DE in 100F heat at Thunderhill...
