Planning for retirement

All you'd need: Living quarters, track car, tire rack. Just hook up a pick up truck and tour the nation’s best tracks. Showed this picture to my wife, she wasn’t too keen until I told her we’d go to Sonoma where all the wineries are.

+1 I have thought the same.

In my retirement dream, the tow vehicle is an 18 wheeler with living quarters, shop, viewing platform, etc in the back. And I have the $ and skills to compete in a 911 cup car. :roll eyes:

Have always thought a motor home with space to store a car was a fun idea for retirement. A long ways off from that but one day!

I do a lot of NASA track events, and that is a pretty common vehicle there; a semi trailer with a living area up front, and room for two cars stacked vertically in back. I am always curious roughly how much a setup like that costs, but I have never asked.

Of course, you have to get a CDL to drive it, as well.

I think it's crazy $ unless you get the rig used

The other one I eye is the Prevost bus RVs

Nasa NorCal events is exactly where I got that idea.
