HUD in M Mode per default?

Hey guys,

maybe I did not find that so far, but is there a way that HUD starts in M mode, not in normal mode when starting engine?

I know it could work via the M buttons, but I am wondering, if it can also start in M mode by default...

thx, Stefan

Hmm didn't know it reverts back. When you hit the Details Displayed option, doesn't it just stay on?

I usually don't use it because I like the shift lights in the dash more

Just took delivery of mine yesterday asked this very question and got a no.
So like you put it in an m1 or a hot key set up to the display info of HUD menu in I drive.

How and when do the shift lights activate?
Is this just for 6MT or also for DCT in S mode?

Both 6MT and DCT have the shift lights in the surround trim of the Rev Counter. Once you start accelerating and get into 5-6-7k rpm the lights shoot counter clockwise into Orange. Than as you proceed towards redline they disappear clockwise until you get too close to limiter and they flash red to shift.

I like it more than the M HUD which I think is displayed far too large and its right in your face

i use the hud now instead of the analog dials. just took some time getting acquainted.
