3) Use the X5? Or maybe try for a 911 I'm hoping the dog is small lol.
14-way is the widest one, so if you have some trouble with it then it the 18-way will be even tougher.

That is generally the case but I still suggest to sit at both to see.

18 can adjust the side boosters but it won't be slimmer seat wise but 911/Cayman 18-way Sport seats are different than the Macan/Cayenne ones.

Rumor has it that whenever a bitch-n-moan thread is this popular and has such a great following, BMW M GmbH takes notice and will start having serious internal discussions about reconsidering the trajectory path that they're currently taking. Perhaps the upcoming M4 CSL will shed 500+ lbs from the G82 platform and actually earn the Leichtbau title.

Hey, one can only hope. I want the best from BMW but the upcoming and current generations have been far from that to me.

Sarcasm does not translate well through text Guaranteed the CSL will have a higher curb weight than the F82.

2016 BMW M3  [0.00]
I can’t wait for the “Banned from new M2 forums” thread.....

In all seriousness- i was looking forward to next M2 as the last hope like many others but the new front and the hideous taillights don’t look promising. Still MUCH better than G8x though. I think with wide body, CF roof and bucket seats - it will be a cool car.

I didn't see much point to driving the 981 but I figured I might as well since it's there. It surprised me with how drivable it was even with the smaller (2.7L) 6 cylinder engine. When I took the engine from 5K to 6K rpm it made a noise that caused me to break a smile despite myself.

I liked both cars more than the M2C that I almost bought. I'm not sure I liked them more than the new M3, except for the fact that they're different whereas the M3 feels the same as all my other cars, and that uniqueness is important.

The three biggest compromises for me to consider are (1) driving a Porsche feels douchey, (2) the Cayman seat bolsters are tight on me, and (3) no rear seat is a real issue because we like to take our dogs with us.
I dont think anything is viewed more douchey than a BMW M driver to the general public. Obviously I used to be one so not throwing stones just the perception I have gotten over the years.

I think the brash designs that BMW is putting out with their M vehicles is only going to amplify this perception on the street. I'm going to miss the days when M models were understated but clearly a much more special version of their base car.

Most here don't know the difference between a regular BMW and a M version. They just see a BMW and think douchy driver period. I'm sure (in my area) they think the same about Porsche drivers or any "fancy" car etc. I think the Porsche being a bit rarer, again around my region, there is a bit more fascination with it than the BMWs that to the non car person are more common.

This will actually change the perception of those owning older versions.

Seriously, as disappointed as I am with BMWs direction that have done a service to those owning any previous models. Everyone of them will become classics

I agree sadly.

I have seen way more douchey BMW drivers then Porsche ones.

The regular 3er, bagged and modded are generally the worse of the bunch. As much as the Subaru crowd that make their car as loud as possible for no reason. That has been my general experience anyway.
