Agreed! I love the Mustangs and if I ever had to downgrade significantly, it would be the sporty car of choice. Enjoy is Mr. Maboomba.

Honestly I don't think it was a bad decision. One of the biggest problems with Porsche, especially their GT cars is that, they are extremely hard to get into. Meaning, it is exceptionally difficult to get your foot in the door. COVID made that situation worse than it already was.

I do kind of agree with Matt on some degree regarding going slowly uphill when it comes to cars. Most of us do but personally I have not looked beyond the GT4 as my personal car. I don't want to have to keep doing this really. It is a tiring process and I dislike parting with cars I come to love.

No matter the issues I have with BMW, a lot more lately than before, the brand itself brought me all of my current circle of friends. Without the brand, I wouldn't have had that nor would I have ended up getting a GT4 (ironic). My personal progression, car wise, is at an end. I will not look beyond it but hopefully you do find something else to get into. I hung out with two of my circle of friends today at New Century BMW, albeit briefly due to us growing a bit older and rl stuff, BMW just... doesn't have what we want anymore. I know my bf is selling his M3 soon(ish) and while the other is my SA, she doesn't want a BMW either. That tells you something.

Oddly, I am probably going down, DD wise I want to find something that is less expensive and not cause me so much concern about which dingdong parks next to me. I keep looking at the upcoming IS500 for some reason or the Kia K5. Probably having the Macan about too. Love driving the GTS.
I agree……hence why I bought the Corolla in December. It already has a ding and I hit something on the freeway that flew out of the bed of the truck in front of me. I got that repaired quickly by my paint guy, but I've just stopped trying to repair every nick. I bought the car to commute in - as a replacement for the C Class - and rack up the mileage so my fun car mileage stays low. I have almost 19,000 miles on the Corolla in 8 months. I'm glad that I don't have to care so much about where I park, although I still habitually park far from other cars when I can.

Seen on the road score.......

I finally saw my first G82 in the wild (no G80s yet). It was parked in a gym parking lot so definitely a bro car.

Last night on the way home from work I saw my first new Mach 1 driving by. Aesthetically and sound wise it was much much more pleasing to the senses.

(Ford’s guidance is up to 1 at / 500 miles is acceptable. BMW said 1 qt / 1000 miles was acceptable on the N63.) I’m hopeful the Gen 2 Voodoo (2019+) is more reliable than its predecessor against catastrophic failure.
I just had to top off my 2020 X3 M40i with 17k miles on it.
This is the first motor i had to do this with since the N54 on my 335i back in the day. I thought the B58 was supposed to be the “reliable” one since its on the Supra.

The exhaust is valved and has selectable normal vs. sport (loud) modes.
The GT350R is a little bit louder - same exhaust but resonators deleted.

When I went to Porsche Monterey to test drive the "bumblebee" GT4 I shared a couple pages ago, this was parked in front. Further evidence there's a decent amount of Porsche/GT350(R) cross-ownership. This also sent me down a multi-day rabbit hole of investigating the process of setting up a Montana LLC and registering the car there, which would let me avoid sales tax and feel more empowered to own cars for short periods of time. I concluded that I didn't want Sedan_Clan hunting me down for tax evasion and registration violations.

Also unless your buying in cash or you've built a credit history for the LLC good luck getting financing for it.

Yeah, I kind of figured it was a push on the tax savings given I was able to borrow 110% LTV at 1.49% on my personal credit. All depends on how long I keep it. If I upgrade to a GT4 in a year, I will have paid $500/month just in taxes 💀

What a beautiful dog! Although Dobby looks similar, he's actually an Australian Cattle Dog - I can't keep him as I live in an apartment right now in the middle of Seattle and work in consulting/finance so I know I wouldn't be able to give him the life he deserves. Plus I just finished raising 2 puppies for my family before leaving the Bay, so I'm a bit puppied out haha. They're like little kids and I don't have the energy for that right now
