My detailer has been more and more interested in a Cayman lately and my CA at DTLA has a friend at Circle who said they have an open allocation(s?) for Caymans. Which apparently is pretty rare at the moment (apparently). My CA said he wanted my detailer to get it to and maybe get it at MSRP but he isn't sure lol. My detailer said he is inching towards the GT4 instead because both him and his wife prefers the GT4.

I told him at the very least the GTS 4.0 just for the engine alone is worth it and it sits at a good price point as well but he said the GT4 just looks better (which I agree lol).

Good call. The tech who did the ppi said the same. I'll get them changed out to mp4s (edit: damn the rears are out of stock at tirerack). I may skip on the coils, I enjoy having a bit of ground clearance. And I don't want to stiffen up the ride even more.

I definitely want the CS style hood at some point. Will probably go aluminum since the cf one is $$$

Well, generally the people who have the money to play this game get to drive other super duper cars in the meantime which they already own. These people aren't in my club, which is sweating out 5+ weeks waiting on my M4 to be done while driving an old X3 loaner vehicle. As an update there, my car currently has the MPHAS installed, MPE installed, spacers, headlight module replaced under warranty, etc. All that is left I'm told is the four corner alignment and I'll be able to pick her up sometime on Monday. Woot!

Then maybe I'll get around to installing this knockoff PSM diffuser I've had lying around collecting dust.

Honestly, I think it is just looking for an opportunity. I count myself as lucky that if I want a car then I can most likely get it. Markups depending on the car but I have never really had trouble with it, it is just the current situation with... so many things add into the fact that I am too Asian (Taiwan) about certain things (markup) that I have a hard time swallowing it.

Fun fact, we are STILL waiting for the RAV4 Prime and my parents have no clue when we would hear news on that either. If there is something else to talk about is how slow Toyota has been.
