Ceramic Idrive and Wireless Charging Upgrade

OEM + Upgraded - idrive to ceramic and also installed the induktiv wireless charging on the car today. Looks much better! If anyone wants to know more just msg.

Having a very hard time imagining how the phone doesn’t slide around with every acceleration, braking and turn.

It’s a rubber material so grip is ok and magnetic so hold the phone. A harsh turn may displace it but no issues so far. Also it’s a lid so you don’t loose the space under.

Depending on how grippy your case is it can move about a bit on hard turns, but I’ve also done long journeys where it’s sat in place for 2-3 hours at a time.

The Induktiv is a great combo with wireless CarPlay, and works way better than the G series OEM charger. This one charges your phone without making it crazy hot. On those long drives it’s adding about 20% every hour even with the GPS, music streaming etc.

Agree with Matt here one of the best ones on the market and no issues for me. Easy install or for the less able book a slot at Evolve if in the UK.

Great thing is you don’t loose the function of the lid either!

Must admit I don’t use the cubby beneath but it’s nice not losing the functionality.

Neither do I but makes it feel more stock I guess or OEM+

Will be down in March/April for Mosselman chargecooler upgrade. 👍
