▀▄ eas | Austin Yellow F80 M3 joins the 700whp club

When this otherwise stock M3 comp rolled into our shop, the owners main concern was to go fast. A friendly wager between the owner and friends in a race, this car needed to perform top notch. Starting with Pure stage II turbos with all the trimmings. Evolution Racewerks chargepipes with integrated dual meth nozzles were added. Bootmod3 was used to tune the car for 91 pump gas and the full e85 tuning was performed by Cary Jordan. After dyno tuning for full e85 we were able to hit 703whp. To help the car hookup with that kind of power levels a lighter set of Titan 7 TS5 were added in 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 with 265/35/19 and 295/30/19 Michelin PS4 tires. To help bring this beast to a stop a set of slotted Brembo GT 380mm kit was added. Enjoy!

Mods
M performance front lip and splitters
Evolution Racewerks chargepipes and downpipes
Snow Performance stage II
Brembo GT 380 mm kit front and rear slotted rotors
Pure Stage II high flow turbos
Titan 7 19 inch TS5 wheel set 19x9.5 f 19x10.5 r
Michelin PS4 265/35/19 and 295/30/19
GTS replica wing

This is insane. What is the all in cost on a build like this?

I know they were on backorder at the time. R888 was first choice then sport cup 2's. Both on backorder.

Is this a 2015? Any concern of the crank hub with that type of power?

Also is this DCT or 6MT. Hows it holding the power?

Super sweet build! I much prefer the PS4S for street duty with occasional track use, but is the customer okay with this tire setup?

265/35/19 = 26.30" OD, 3.65" sidewall height
295/30/19 = 25.97" OD, 3.48" sidewall height (2.86% smaller than stock)

This is 2017 and it is a DCT. We pushed the power right around the threshold we have seen for DCT handling limits.

No issue at all going smaller. Stock rear size is 26.57 inches and 295/30/19 is a tad bit shorter and the 295/35/19 is about 0.4-0.5 inches taller.

Awesome power!

Side question: what's the idea with the two spoilers? Is that good/bad/personal preference?

The performance lip spoiler is probably glued on from factory and not coming off without body shop help.

Nice clean powerful setup! Those Titans go really well with Austin Yellow. Can you get 305/30 on the rears for a little more width and matching sidewall height with the fronts or did you go with 295’s for a specific reason?

Definitely needs a new trunk setup. After all those extensive modifications you can't rock a double spoiler like that!

Maybe no clutch slippage if you stay away from launch control. I am only running BM3 stg 2 with stock everything and I smelled clutch at least twice now and experienced clutch slip in 1st with launch control. Otherwise 2nd seems OK and everything past that has no problem
