We MUST have different versions.

I do want to add that audibly the turbos are slightly louder than charcoal delete and sounds good! I have gained one PSI of boost versus stock intake boxes so it’s picking up power for sure. Butt dyno concurs and I will have some draggy times in the next day or so to compare.
I received your pictures. It looks like the intake is mounted a bit higher than our standard installation. I'm going to get our shop car in here tomorrow afternoon and tear into it so we can compare the revised pipe vs the pipe you received from the same batch.

You both have the same version, we've only revised the passenger pipe once. I don't believe there's a difference between the two inlet pipes but I'll personally confirm in the morning once we tear into the shop M4.

Try mounting the intake lower, if it still does not work get a 45-degree coupler

Did you know what the diameter of the coupler has to be? And length?

It's clear that the pipe is installed at the incorrect angle from this picture. Fortunately your issue is an easy fix that simply involves loosening the couplers and realigning the tube so it's closer to the engine.

I picked up the VRSF intakes right before Labor Day last year, installed them with no issues. Seeing this thread made me want to go check, the MAF sensor definitely has like an inch of clearance from the CF brace.

It's hard to grasp why one would move from a sealed airbox to an open air design. Pop your hood after a long drive and feel different materials and see what holds heat longer - a plastic airbox or metal pipes. The same exact gains can be had installing a set of BMC filters and chucking the charcoal liners in the stock airboxes - without the whooshing noises.

Front mount intakes that block airflow to the radiator is a whole different story.
I got BMC filters now, Tom. They do make a nice difference vs. stock. And I think they are more efficient vs. an exposed intake, like this.
Do you think front mount intakes are an improvement vs stock boxes with drop ins?
