I ask the dealer to leave the car as is from the factory. They were nice enough to do so! The protective paper on the doors, plastic mats and seats came covered. First thing will be to take it for cleaning, detailing and Modesta nano coating. I'll do a baseline dyno, change the oil and begin modding.

In the meantime Im enjoying doing proper motor break-in and CCB bedding.

Sorry for the bump, but did you have to do anything special to get them to submit that request. I'm looking to do the same thing with this color:



but the CA I am talking with said his manager "with 35 years of experience" said BMW would never do it. Of course, this is the same manager that said he wouldn't do ED on an M car . I've got 4 other dealerships I'm working with so I know I won't be working with this particular one but it'd be nice to know if there is something I have to do to get a non-BMW color order put in.

Interesting.... Turns out it's the "she's" that know more about the BMW Individual program in the U.S. than the "he's", at least in my experience. :
