Bms Jb4 2018 M3

One word, dayum.

This is my first beemer, I've owned z06's, modded 350z's, mr2 turbo's, modded e55, and this thing pulls as hard if not harder then all of them.

The JB4 added a lot of torque and top end power. I'm only on the first tune since I am on pump gas and don't have many mods but the difference is night and day.

I haven't broken in the car yet so after the first 1200 miles we'll really open her up and see what she can do.

I just wanted to share.

These were my thoughts exactly! I went with the BMS stage 1 because I just wanted a set it and forget it solution since mine is a lease as well.

Amazing difference. Night and day.

JB4 is a set it and forget it setup too. The only difference is you have the flexibility to make changes if and only if you wanted to. BTW max LED brightness is insane. The car sounds a billion times better with exhaust valves open and ASD off.

How do you change the exhaust valves and turn ASD off?

For the exhaust
Hold the BC button for like two seconds. One or both of your turn signals will come on. Depending on which turn signal comes on will determine the valve status. If the left turn signal comes on the valves will open and stay open until you change it. If you release it and press the button again for two seconds and you see the right turn signal come on this means that the valves are closed and will stay that way until you manually change them. If you hold the BC button again for 2 seconds both turn signals will light. This indicates that the valves will perform as stock. Valves open 100 percent makes a world of a difference! Makes it have waaay more attitude than stick. ASD mute is option 1 I believe. The option list is on N55 tech.

Scroll down till you see OBDII option menu. There should be tutorials on how to go through the menus. It?s tricky at first but easy once you get the hang of it

Can't you just put it into sport or sport+ mode? Pretty much does the same and opens the valves I believe but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes but the sounds open up even more if you keep the valves from closing. In sport/sport+ the valve is always opening and closing depending on throttle. There's a lot more pops and crackles too if you're into that.

Believe me, there is a huge difference between stock valve settings in sport and sport plus vs. valves open all the time with what you get from valve control module.
