M performance exhaust question

I recently purchased an m performance m4 exhaust for a good deal. I heard that the m performance and competition exhaust are the same mid pipe. Anyone know if this is true? If I get a competition mid pipe and pair it with the m performance will it sound the same as the full exhaust system? I know the m performance is titanium but not sure about the competition. Any ideas anyone? Will the m performance exhaust be louder than my current setup- resonator/secondary cat delete with valves open.

Post a pic of what you actually have, with all parts and pieces. That helps us.

As he said without the mid it is no longer a direct bolt in. Can be adapted with a cost and a dood exhaust guy but it is a pain

If only there existed forums where people can discuss their car and mods and post about experiences.

If that were the case I figure there would already be dozens of threads on this exact subject. Like all starting with the famous last words "i got an m performance exhaust for cheap". Then maybe they would all end the same too, "shit is worthless without midpipe".

I guess for that to happen, internet would need to be widely available and such.

Maybe one day

Sorry OP. But you got had. This is not direct bolt on whatsoever. You'll need a mid pipe with valves fabricated.

Luckily, Rampage fabrication is close to Seattle. They work with titanium and may be able to help save this into a working exhaust. I'd try them.
