2016 F8X Confirmed European Delivery Pickup Dates & Tracking Information

Hey guys, now that some people on the forums are getting their confirmed euro-delivery pickup dates, I thought it would be cool if we tracked who is picking up their cars on what days/maybe meet some forum members along the way! Earliest confirmed date I believe was August 10th for F8X 2016 ED pickups

Also being helpful here and keeping along on our production updates. Posting any new advancements. I still am not able to enter my production number into mybmw section on the bmwusa.com website. Anyone have luck in this matter or know when usually takes affect?

For example, this is my pickup information:

Pickup: Wednesday 08/12 2:00PM

The 1-800 says "your car is scheduled for production with no date yet."

The website says "Only new vehicles can be added by production number. If your vehicle is currently in production, it is possible it has not yet entered our system."

As of June 30 I was able to add my production number to BMWUSA.com

As of July 6th 2016 cars have begun production.

As of July 13th, lease rates for July have been released!

Feel free to include build specs and also your plan for driving around Europe. Still trying to nail all of my routes down!

Excited to see all of us get our 2016 M3/M4 cars!

Will call tomorrow to book the plant tour for the morning before pickup. Headed to Fussen after delivery

So when BMW NA confirmed my delivery date and pickup time to the dealer, the same email from them stated that the dealer neess to send in a PO To BMW at a minimum of 30 days prior to delivery. Without that the order cannot be fulfilled and can jeopordize the delivery date. My CA is on vacay and said he would send the PO on the17th when he gets back. Am wondering if the phone and online status may be tied to that?

Yup. That's what's needed to get things on track. The first part of the process that shows up is "Order Documented."

I was thinking of just going to do the tour at Regensburg or Dingolfing if it works into my schedule. Only plan to spend a couple days in Munich. Still waiting on my ED date though, so I don't know I yet.

For 130 euros you can schedule a private tour for up to 30 people. Appears this is a Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. I didn't see any dates when it's not offered.

We are sorry to inform you that there are no guided tours through the BMW plant in Munich between the 01st of August and the 23rd of August 2015, because of a closedown. The BMW plant will re-open on the 24th of August 2015.

You have to call that plant in order to schedule it. They don't schedule via email, at least according to the woman i spoke with about the Welt tour.

So interesting new information on the Plant tour........I called the Munich Factory to book my plant tour on delivery day. They informed me that the plant tour is available to US residents only once a day at 11:45 AM since that is the only tour which is offered in English. I asked if I could just take the non-English one because my delivery is at 11:40 AM and they said they cannot do that because of insurance reasons

So either I move my date or I miss the tour.
