265/35/20 front 295/30/20 rear for 666m
So was wondering if anyone tried 265/35/20 front 295/30/20 rear for 666m.
I know the 275/30/20 front and 295/30/20 rear 4s work but I want more sidewall in front. Front diameter goes up from 26.3 stock, 26.5 for 275/30 to 27.3 265/35 but we have big factory front wheel gap. Rear 295/30 is 27.0 diameter. This is same tire size as 2018 E63S AMG. Think it will clear and give 666m a more substantial sidewall. Stock front is a rubber band.

Yes this setup looks great OnPole! Definitely going same 295/30/20 pilot 4s rear.
Still considering 265/35/20 up front for .4” more sidewall. I don’t think anyone has tried this size yet. Really think the front wheel will benefit from larger sidewall with these crappy nyc roads. Worried it may not clear shock perch or inner fender though. BTW - what front lip is that OnPole? |

I am thinking of going to 275/30 front and 295/30 in rear. Did you add any spacer, made any changes or just added wider tires to 20" Comp wheels?

Stock wheels and no spacers, just changed tires.

Cool. Thanks for update. Will be doing that after holidays.
Lastly, have you seen any changes with bigger tires?

265/35/20 front is too tall. Will rub. 265/30/20 front and 295/30/20 rear is better.

the 275/30 works, but will rub on the fenderliners at crank if the offset becomes too aggressive, especially if lowered

I’m not lowering and think 275/30/20 front, 295/30/20 is the best. So far the people in this forum running this size are having no problems. Most people are running Michelin 4s but I think some are also having luck with the conti etrme contract in this size as well.

Hi OP,
I'm also thinking about going 275/30/20 and 295/30/20 combo. Want to ask you some feedback about how good it feels. Any feedback will be appreciated, Thanks! |

What kind of tires are you talking about? Just PS4/PSS but 35 diameter in the front?
I actually just put on 245/35/20 N0 porsche and 285/30/20 BMW star PSC2 and MDM is extremely intrusive on the track. I’m really regretting my decision... |

I thought the diameter offset was 35 front and 30 rear, which means the rears are spinning faster than the front wheels. What’s strange is, I actually think the car went from a very under steering feel to a very oversteering feel. Does this characteristic sound correct? |

Use the specs published on tirerack.com for your tires or use a tire calculator online to figure out the diameters. But long story short the only tire I'd run with a 245/35/20 Cup 2 like yours is the 295/30/20 cup 2. 305/30/20 would be even closer however but that tire is expensive and doesn't fit many setups. |

265/30/20 vs. 275/30/20
285/30/20 vs. 295/30/20 Any major downsides to upsizing to a 275/295? Or should I stay with 265 F and run 295 R?
