I use Toyo R888, but in 245/40/18 and it grips very very well, but they are discontinued so hardluck getting anything else, may try Michelin for the Cup 2 tyres.

Try 265/40/18 front and 285/40/18 rear. The Cup 2s are the most ideal choice in any case but you know don't go for the toyo r888 or Hankook rs3s for a daily tire as they are dangerous in wet conditions.

The factory Michelin's are good for 491.87 WHP. Anything more than that, you need to go R-comps.

Bridgestone RE71R for 18/19 inches is also a good choice , she is more easy to get in working temp than Cup2 ...
For 20 inches , in this range not much choice , I am using Cup2 295 30 20 for rear tyre... Performing better than same cup2 but 275 width on rear tire

Bridgestone RE71R 265 front 285 rears are a huge improvement over stock MPSS.

Get Mickey Thompson drag radials if you want the best dry traction. Not ideal for daily driver.

Completely agree, I am also running the RE71R's in that size and it's like night and day between the stock tires that came with the car.. I also just ordered the Pirellis Trofeo R's in 285/265 which are supposed to be the grippest street legal R compound tire currently on the market and are lighter then the RE71R's.. Just have been advised they wear very fast as it's a 60 thread rating tire, will let you know how the traction compares...

Funny you say that. Just ordered M/T ET Street S/S 305/35R/19s for my daily driver rears. Decided the ultimate in traction was worth it.

They are definitely louder. Not unbearable, but you'll hear them. Worth it for the grip, though.

Yes, they will. And their diameters are proportionate to stock so the traction control still works as designed. They are a great replacement.

I'm using RE-11 (the RE-71 is the replacement for this). I'm happy with the RE-71s. Traction is great. (275/305) I only went with them because PSS are seemingly always on back order, but at this point, I'll probably just go ahead with the RE-71s next time I'm due for tires.
