It rubs full lock inside the wheel well. So if I'm full lock right the left front wheel touches the fender liner and full lock left the right front wheel Touches the fender liner. Contact is minimal, and I only even noticed it when I was swapping in new brake ducts. But I'm never full lock unless I have to make a tight maneuver in the paddock.

Have either of you ever driven the car without turning DSC off, even briefly on the road/freeway? I’m curious if the smaller height of the 305/645-18 and lack of stagger F to R triggers any issues with the TC system.

Looking at the sizes of the Pirelli slicks in 305/645/18 and see the overall diameter as 25.5 inches. Is this basically maxed out on the sidewall clearance? Do you think a 25.7 or a 26.3 would clear at all? Looking at a few different available sizes across different brands and wondering where the limit is.

I've driven it with DSC on MDM on. Doesn't affect it whatsoever.

I prefer the shorter OD tire. I can run my front end lower and I don't have to worry about rubbing the fenders under compression. |

So 26.3 OD rubs for sure. Anyone ever run Achilles slicks? I can get a set of 4 brand new for pennies in comparison to the NT01 I'm currently running or scrubbed Pirelli's. For the cost figure it's worth a shot and thinking they won't rub as it's 25.7 OD for the Achilles vs 25.5 for the 645 Pirelli.

30/65-18 is too wide. 310mm section width on a 11" is pinched. They recommend 12" minimum. I've run 30/65-18 Michelin GT's and they "fit" and cleared but you could tell they weren't optimal and they wore very quickly. I should say they fit on my E92. I wouldn't try on my F80. |

Michelin's there was a noticeable difference in sidewall stiffness vs the Pirelli. The Michelin flexed considerably more. Not sure how much this plays into it but typically soft sidewall crammed on skinny wheel is not optimal. |
