My 2018 M3 DCT Comp Build
Good afternoon everyone,
This will be my first post after a long time of trolling. I purchased my M3 early 2020 and have been driving it mostly to and from work in San Diego. Jan 15th I was rear ended on I-15 in Temecula and sustained some back and head injuries. But miraculously the car only received minor damage and all of it to the rear bumper. So I decided to take care of the car that took care of me and do a build the way I have always wanted to my whole life! This is around my 10th BMW and it would take me a lot to ever decide to go with something else. This is pretty much just an intro, I will follow up with the build details. Some of you may have seen some of my posts on FB or IG @chyeaforchase. I look forward to actual conversation on real specs and experiences, not the usuall facebook promo for the latest tuning software, lol. Feel free to hit me up with any questions about the build! I look forward to joining the Bimmerpost community! Now I just have to figure out how to include pics. |

Nice choice of components. Did you get the Wagner combo kit with TMIC, FMIC and little SMIC?
Is that dyno graph a baseline or after-tune?

I have not purchased the TMIC but it will be coming in the near future. The dyno is completely stock except for BMC drop ins and charcoal removed.

Wait till you see what a custom E30 or E50 tune will make with those plus size snails.

I decided to finish off the Wagner cooling with the top mount. I'm interested to see how well this setup holds in the heat of the summer.

Wagner Tuning Top Mount, Eventuri charge pipes, Evolution Racewerks J pipe, and Pure PS2+V2. Hopefully we can get the tune dialed in and dyno sometime next week.

Thanks man, I've only had it back for a day but so far it is amazing! We are getting the tune dialed in now. Ian at Bend Calibration really knows how to make the car run as smooth as possible.

It sounds great. Still some rasp when revving it when not moving but when high rpm the sound is great. I will get some clips soon. I have a resonated equal length mid pipe and Mad Max exhaust on order. I plan on coating those with Cerekote also. The turbo noises are fantastic!!!
