Was about to post just that. That's how you launch a car . They've got every PR step nailed to perfection so far.

As a serious question, does anyone know the curb weight of the 6speed F82 compared to the G82? (Too lazy to look)
Why do I have such a hard time believing the G82 is only 100 lbs more? Am I correct in my assumption that no one is comparing the ZF AWD version against the DCT F82?

Great review from CH as always. Both amazing and sad at the same time, as cars like this will soon be disappearing or will be harder to make with ever increasing restrictions and regulations.
Reminds me a bit of Jeremy Clarkson's video on the Vantage V12. "Wonder, wonderful, wonderful... I just have this horrible, dreadful feeling that what I'm driving here, is an ending"

He's always loved GT3s, heck I remember watching his reviews of the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 nearly 10 years ago now!

If you guys want to talk about not making them like they used to, this one is a throwback to arguably the best era in German NA vehicle production: Funny watching something like this now since they're all considered obsolete by modern performance standards, but the character of these cars just jumps through the screen... and those NA noises are something else entirely. Man, this was a great era. My only regret is that I was too young and way too broke to get into any of these at the time.

Note that the 57/43 weight distribution from the Autobild article is a typo. If you either do the math or look in the data panel of the article you'll find it is actually 53/47.
