Racebox 10hz vs 25hz
Hi all
I am going to be tracking more next year, racebox usually has a blackfriday sale of 25% so I am ready to splurge. My question is, they have the racebox (10hz) and racebox mini (25hz). I prefer the standalone nature of the non-mini. Some timing gear is switching to 25hz. For the track it can be a PIA to hook up two devices so the classic Racebox wins in this regard. Should I get the mini accounting for higher accuracy ? Or the standalone unit will be fine? Thanks! Dick |

You could get the Racebox Mini S. It has the same function and 25Hz as the Mini. Also needs to be connected to an app. However, it also has built in storage in order to record sessions.

It obviously lacks a screen, so you don’t get the on device functions like the Eacebos Pro. But the onboard memory allows for recording sessions data. I’ll just copy and last from their website:
“Featuring built-in storage, the RaceBox Mini S provides you the ability to record lengthy sessions on its own. Effortlessly track your performance without concerns for space or mounting options for your phone. It can capture more than 2 hours of data at a 25Hz sampling rate or over 5 hours at 10Hz in its integrated storage.” |
