In PA we need yearly inspections, this is done on a yearly basis, normally at the dealership. I'm a business guy so I get it. But generally this would fall under consumables and CODB....but this is taking it to a whole new level. I Feel this is as bad as charging me for the ink the printer used to print the invoice!!!! 35cents for a squirt of windex?

They should at least have the decency to bury it in a separate “shop fees” line like other dealers.

It's not the cost of the Windex, it's the training cost and the labor for the technician so that he knows precisely how much Windex to spray and exactly where to spray it. You're lucky they didn't charge more, given the hourly cost for a BMW technician.

I was in that training... smh

Ridiculous; how difficult is it to set nozzle on "spray".

Pretty ridiculous. But while we are on the topic of PA inspections...anyone know of any "friendly" shops that will pass my Stage 2 kitty-less M3?

The sprayer's velocity has been engineered, tested and retested for ideal output across multiple environments. Sprayer is torqued to spec.

OP, you are local. What’s the overall cost for your inspection? I pay $70 including taxes at Ottos for the M and $53 for the Acura at the local Acura dealer. Why are you going to Sloane?
