New to the F82

Hi guys,

Just picked up my new to me F82 with the competition package. 2017 with all the goodies in my opinion. Best part? Only 5565mi on the clock and the dealer had it listed as a base. The VIN decoder, stitching in the seat belts, and black chrome exhaust say otherwise.

Sakhir Orange on black interior with the split cloth/leather seats.

Not my first BMW, had an E39 530 5spd before this. Definitely an upgrade.

Need to take some better pics, but here's what I've got for the time being

Awesome looking car. Congrats! Do you know the history by chance? Those options (CCB and cloth interior) make it seem like it might have been a BMW Driving Experience car. Or maybe a demo?

Soon! Not driving it in the wet or snow until I get some - but we're almost out of the rough for the year up here.

Still need to figure out wheels/tires that fit over the CCB. Have my eyes on a set of O.Z. wheels as my winter pair.

Saw something about the BMW 19" wheels scraping the calipers otherwise I'd just buy the winter package from BMW and have the dealer store them.

I'm not entirely sure. I know it was a personal lease in Chicago and then a dealer bought it in MI after the lease was up. Now it's in my hands.

That is a good point about it maybe being a driving experience car though.

Has the executive package as well as driver assistance package, so maybe a demo that got leased out before it had the chance.

Regardless, congrats. I love the way it's optioned out!

Driving it like my Tahoe until it warms up and only around town I will say that the feature of being able to view tire temp as well as pressure is really, really, nice.

Some people have had issues with their cars that suggest they've been treated poorly and dealers did a poor job fixing them, and they turned out to be ex BMW driving experience cars.

But even if your car was, if it has no issues, don't sweat it. These cars are built to be driven hard (with due care of course, like letting it warm up first).

Enjoy the car. I have the same colour, love it. After owning black cars for a long time it is a refreshing change.

Nice. Love the combination of Sakhir Orange, Competition Package, Carbon Ceramic Brakes! Great overall spec there.
