I finally got my splitter installed. It fits perfect. I got it from MsMotorsports at www.raceparts.biz they even had it in stock. I was in contact with Martin and he was very helpful with quick responses which is very important to someone buying products out of Country. When I contacted MK directly they weren't very responsive...

I also got the cooling ducts installed on the backing plates

Hard to tell by the pics but do a fitment check to make sure the ducting pushes air into the hubs of the rotors and not onto the rotor surface. Pushing cold air onto the rotors will cause premature failure and in general is a big no-no when it comes to brake ducts.

Got any pictures of the underside construction of the splitter and how hose routing is done?

Here is what the underside ducts look like, I will be running 3" hose. I haven't don't it and probably won't until I put the MCS 2 way remotes go on and do it all at once when it's up in the air.

You are right I will be putting a blocking plate so the rotor face won't be getting much air, just the hat

Wish someone made a similar with cooling ducts splitter for the M2.

Do you have pics to show how far inboard the splitter goes?

I wish i could find one of these made from something that does not break easily. I want a splitter like this so bad but i feel like it will not last very long

View this as a lip. And protect it underneath with an actual (sacrificial) splitter from Racebred Components or APR or something

Would that make it even lower though? And make me scrape even more?

Any links to what you are talking about that are specific for our cars?

I heard this too. It's better to direct air into the vanes, right?

Yes straight to the hub then the vanes pull it through the rotor surface. The essex article shared is what we ought to strive towards.
