A052 295F/315R for a track set up

Anyone tried fitting Yokohama A052's on the below set up:

Front:
295/30-18 A052 tires
Apex EC7 18x10" ET25 wheels
Dinan Springs

Rear:
315/30-18 A052
EC7 18x11" ET44
Dinan Springs

I think these will fit, bit just wanted to check to see if anyone has tried this or something close.

The rear will be fine. The front will need some help with a good amount of camber and perhaps some inner wheel well shaping. I've got the same sized Toyo RR (10.5" front wheels) on my M4 with MP HAS and TC Kline camber plates.

Thanks for the input. I've got camber plates, so I'll give these a shot.

Some have reported inner fender rubbing in the rear with that much offset but usually with a taller tire so just keep an eye out for that as well good luck should be hooked up

I'll watch for that. These are about 1" smaller diameter than stock.

Stock PSS's:
F: 26" dia
R: 26.6"

Above referenced Yoko's:
F: 25.1"
R: 25.6

This set up will be for the track only... so no concern with electronics.

Love to see the fitment once you put them on, considering same sizes in this or Nankang AR1

Update:

The A052's fit without any rubbing at all. I'm currently on the stock suspension, so I'll recheck when I lower.

Also note, these tires run WIDE. They're roughly 1/2" wider for a similar width PSS.

I'll post some better picks later.

I ran a similar front set up of 18x10 et 25 with Hankook 295/30/18 and it was fine. Mine was a square. One way to fix small inner plastic rubbing is to use a small blow torch, soften the part where it's making contact and slowly push it out. Works like a charm. Can you adjust your ride height?

Would 265/35/18 and 295/35/18 A052 be good to run on 18x10/11 or is it preferred to go as wide as OP?

IMO, Tread width = or .5” narrower than wheel width.

Of course there is some wiggle room (pun) in there, and nothing can replace real world experience as there is personal preference, driving style, grip level, alignment, sidewall construction and many more factors to consider... but generally on a high grip racecar (trackcar) you want the sidewall to have support from the outside of the rim to limit tread squirm as the sidewall has vertical support (spring rate) and very little to no lateral support, so as the tread extends past the other edges of the wheel (think off-road truck tire meant for low grip to conform to terrain/rocks) it cannot support itself as intended... “stretching” the tire onto the rim increases the lateral support that the sidewall can create and can reduce the amount of negative camber and psi needed slightly... too much tho and the contact patch becomes too rounded and smaller... this is the way I understand it and there is no perfect setup... it’s all about optimization every application is unique and a combination of many variables that can be tweaked to achieve a balance

Do you base wheel width on the quoted width (inside-to-inside tire beard measurement, 18x10, 18x11, etc. - standard wheel sizing) or the true wheel width which is 1” wider (measured from outer lip-to-outer lip; e.g., 18x10 is really 18x11 outer, 18x11 is 18x12 outer, etc.)? Most people don’t know this which means a wheel actually has an extra 1” of wheel width vs. the standard wheel width sizing measured at inner tire bead width.

This

There is an Apex 10.5 ET 22... that's the front wheel you want for this tire

I use the stated wheel width, so inner to inner.

Good lord how tight are things with the +25 offset up front? I'm on a +21.5 setup and things are really close to those struts, like maybe 1/4" of room. This is with a 285/35/19 RE71R which is pretty dang tall though (they look way taller than my 275/35/19's Blizzaks for some reason).
