I have both and I prefer the ZHP, comfort, feel and of course the extra weight feels great. It complimented my Auto Solutions Short shifter very well.
Long story short, had the knob sitting around the garage from my old M3 and totally forgot I had it. Tried it on the f80, and left it on. |

I cant say for certain but i believe there is no difference with the shift knob from a base vs competition 6 speed model. I believe those two users are actually talking about the ZHP knob from a E46 M3 and installing it into a F80.

Perfomance:
https://www.bimmerworld.com/BMW-Inte...428i-435i.html Weight: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...d/25117896886/ I found ebay had them as cheap as $65 but you'll have to cross ref the part number. I also placed each know on my food scale , kinda hard to do w. the Performance one because it was still glued on to the boot. The weighted ZHP is heavier. |
