Hey All,

I am looking to get some coding. I have M3 with compettion, navi, enhanced blutooth,

I have some questions:

What does

1. Enable tailight as DRL do?
2. What is EURO MDM? How is it different then US MDM (I have M3)
3. What does adding weather band option to entertainment options do?
4. How is euro high beam assist different than US?
5. What is digital speedometer
6. What is enable ///M logo in digital cluster?
7. What does enabling blind spot detection from 12mph instead of 30mph do?

Also, I am getting the following. Am i missing anything?

• DVD in Motion
• Enable video playback via usb port
• allow ability to add new devices to system while driving
• enable ability to use office functionality while driving
• Turn on zoom feature for rear view camera
• disable legal disclaimer
• add/ weatherband to entertainment options
• enable torque and power meters in idrive (I think i already have this)
• Enable ability to read full text messages/emails
• Close windows with keyfob
• fold/unfold side mirrors with keyfob
• fold side mirrors as soon as the vehicle is locked
• disable window safety
• unlock doors when car is turned off
• enable euro high beam assist
• enable fog lights as welcome lights
• change one touch lane change to 5 count
• enable brake force braking flashing tail lights
• enable door handle lights in reverse
• Disable top speed restriction for camera

It enables taillight as DRL. That is, taillights are on when daytime running lights are on instead of just headlights.

It adds weather band to the entertainment options (assuming the hardware is capable of supporting it).

It enables the ///M logo in the digital cluster. As far as I know, that's standard on an M-car in the first place.

It enables blind spot detection from speeds of 12 mph and up instead of from 30 mph and up.

Adds NO weather band. Only works on HU_CIC/HU_Entry.

US = Automatic On / Off
Euro = Tunneling

If you have HUD, it is redundant. But, it is BC option in cluster.

I have an 2016 M3, and have done quite a bit coding myself.

M3 doesn't have fog lights.

I found the following to be very useful:
* Easy Entry
* Rear fog light (which requires a bit of DYI on the button, but super easy)
* Eliminate Speed Locks for Owner’s Manual & Bluetooth pairing
* Disable Welcome 3 Gongs
* Remove trunk kick delay
* Heated Seat adjustment

Other pure cosmetic options to consider:
* Turn off Amber Side Markers next to Headlight
* Increase Angle Eyes / DRL Brightness to 100%
* GTS Logo in the Cluster

Speed and steering wheel direction based changing of light pattern of low beams. Comparatively, NGHB's uses the KAFAS2/3 or FLA camera behind rear-view mirror for high beam tunneling.
