Ha I'm an idiot
I kept posting in the Mid-Atlantic region forums. Just want to chat and maybe meet some cool car friends to hang with occasionally. Having a baby makes it tough to get out sometimes but I definitely want to get out and cruise and meet some good car people. I have a 2015 M3 in NC. Just saying hi after years of being on this forum and posting in the wrong spot, haha. Currently living in Chapel Hill, but moving to Cary soon!
I have a friend who used to be the M mechanic at Southpoint BMW and was the leading BMW M tech in the country. He opened his own shop if anyone needs a good dude. This name is Felix Balines, I'm trying to get him on the forums, but he just opened up GMST Speed. He's doing all sorts of crazy things but also does like regular maintenance. I don't trust any of my cars (wife's and mine) to anyone else unless it's free and even then I text him to see. But, that wasn't the point of my post, just wanted to say Hi! If you see me on the road, feel free to wave or say hi! My license plate is AWESOM3, haha douchey but it felt too good to not put it on there. |

nice, to see a local M3. I have a 2018 alpine white 6mt zcp. I commute around and out of DT Raleigh ... so "welcome" but in no way is NC mid-Atlantic (originally from Maryland which is square in the mid-Atlantic category)

I'm in Clayton, with what I'm fairly sure is the only Tanzanite-over-Silverstone F80 M3 in the area. I have a first-responder flag decal on the lower center of my rear window and "blued" exhaust tips. If you've never been to the Bearded Bee craft brewery in Wendell, you should give it a try on a Sunday afternoon. Might even see you there!

Thanks for the welcome guys! Excited to make some new friends. Officially moved to Cary last week so, trying to keep my cold starts manageable for my new neighbors, lol! Hope to see you guys around maybe! RoundelM3, I moonlight in Clayton on Thursdays, so maybe I'll see you around!
wishbone hahaha, thanks for clarifying. I was up in Baltimore for about 7 years for school. That's where I thought the Mid-Atlantic ended, but surely by VA, haha no clue. kovalchuk71 haha, cary is a nice area to grow up in! I don't know any good body/vinyl shops I've worked with. I talked with metawrapz on instagram. They seem very receptive and do good work, I think they are based out of Raleigh. |

Any particular place in Clayton? I live in Carolina Overlook, just a few minutes north of downtown Clayton.

Welcome to the correct sub forum, lol. I'm right down the road in Holly Springs. Recently moved up from Goldsboro. Love the area.
Got me a 2018 M3, but have been kicking around the idea of going back to stock and selling the car.....but not really sure what I want to get to replace it. |

Hunter is the owner there and does insanely detailed phenomenal work. He wrapped the entire front end of my M3 7 years ago and it's still great. For body work Dreamworks motorsports was my place, long wait, but they did some custom painting for me that was incredible. |
