Black M seat emblems not lighting up

Hey guys,

The dealer replaced my cracking silver seat back emblems to black ones today. However, they are not lighting up when I unlock or lock the doors / open doors.

Do you know what could be wrong?

I have my car hooked up to my ctek overnight to see if it could be a low voltage issue in the meantime.

This happened to me.

Was a short circuit. Dealer fixed it.

Error code 8042C4. Nothing needed to be changed. Hasn't recurred

Do you know what they did to fix it? Just clear codes? Trying to see if I can DIY to avoid going back to the dealer.

I think they did some circuit testing which was all fine then cleared codes.

You may find the door handle ground lights are also not working as they are part of the same circuit.

Make sure your welcome lights are enabled. It’s part of that circuit.

Winner winner chicken dinner!

All of the techs were stumped at the dealership. I told them about this and it works lol.

Looks like it was somehow disabled after the installation.

Thank you!
