QUESTION - 2015 BMW M3 with CCB

All, my 2015 BMW M3 is making a bit of a squealing noise and I'm thinking it is in need of brake pads at the minimum

I've been told the total cost through a mechanic is about $1700 for the front and $1500 for the rear inclusive of disc's, pads and sensors. I think I have CCBs but I have posted a photo for reference.

Does this make sense? Can I not just do the brake pads for now? What options do I have please? I am in Calgary, Alberta, Canada if it helps.

Nature of the beast. Some times some hard stops will improve the issue but you could spend a whole lot of $$$$ and still have squealing brakes. IMO If the wear indicators are OK keep driving.

You do have CCB. CCB rotors are very expensive, around $4,547 each. Usually on BMWs you replace the rotor and pads at the same time. CCB I would expect the same

Is there a good reason I can't just do brake pads without replacing the rotors though? (I realize it would wear the pads down quicker but perhaps that's better than rotors and pads?)

Do I have any other options?

If you don't have a light on the dash, don't change anything, if you still want to change the pads you can do it, the discs don't need to be changed, CCB can easily last 400,000km.

All, is there a market for those looking to buy these CBB brakes all around? I may just install the cast iron brakes as a replacement if brakes are needed. Any idea how much these CBB brakes sell for?

All, thanks for your time. Figured out it was nothing major and by looking at the wear indicators, a fantastic amount of coverage remaining.

As a note: When selling CCB's the disc weight is important to inform about as that tells how much life the discs have left. You have minimum disc weight written on the disc hub.

If the 3 circular wear indicators are smooth to the touch, you disks are fine. Just get new brake pads.

If they are not, contact me and I can explain more about the condition of your CCBH.

For refrence, here is what new disk looks like:
