wheel tire decision and TC concerns Help needed

F80 zcp - on Eibach springs with Bilstein damptronic coilovers. So only slightly lowered. Looking to get PS4 tires. I would prefer not to mess up TC. Looking at EC7 wheels 19x9.5 et20 and 19x11 et40 rear. One option is 285/30/19 and 315/30/19 rear which is a .7 delta which seems a bit high as I understand that stock is ~.5 diff. Could I fit 295/30/19 and 315/30/19 which is a .5 delta which would ideally negate and TC issues ?

I think as long as the ratio between your tire diameters are similar to OE you should be fine on the TC front. I have no issues with TC running 275/35r18 and 305/30r19 on my stock suspension F83. I turn TC off for any performance driving scenario anyway.

As for sizing, how are you going to fit 285 or 315 under lowered suspension? I'm curious.

For a 19x9.5et20, I’d run a 265/35-19, and for a 19x11et20 I’d run a 305/30-19. A 315/30-19 is typically too wide for an 11” wide wheel although some brands do make a 315 that will fit.

Tire shop ordered both the 305 and 315 and will try both so will see. Re fronts ended up going w 265/35/19 which should be fine. Wheels won’t be in for another month I’m sad to say. Will post once they get fitted.

Why don't you run a 325/30r19? Apex makes their 19x11 wheels for running that size tire. And its within the manufacturer spec for tire/rim width ratio.
