Keep in mind that I believe whether you lease or buy the date that you sign the contract is the date that your first payment and every month there after. I will confirm with my dealer and let me know the same with yours.

You do not want to sign papers too early. BMW requires signing to be done no later than 7 days before delivery date. I will sign my papers on Sat June 14th as first payment date. Second payment is covered by BMW if you are leasing. Third payment should be about the time my car will be back in states which could be end of july / first week in Aug on a smooth delivery. This will be well before Aug 14th when next payment is due. Nothing like making a car payment on a car not in your garage

I took this Into consideration when BMW pre approved me with the interest they gave me. I already have my credit union on hold to buy the loan 45 days after I sign with BMW( they will give me 45 days out to make the first payment). I was also able to get a lower interest rate with them as well. If everything works out how I planed it, I should not make a actual first payment till 60-90 days out after signing for the car.( I am shooting for Aug 16-24 to make my first payment)

I was told you can call BMW FS and change your payment date

Thanks. Did you call your SA? My online tracking also shows that the order is still processed. The dealer's system is way ahead of that I believe.

Yea I called the hot line first then spoke to a customer service rep, he told me my car would be in production on June 23rd as far as he can see.... then my SA told me it would start production tonight or tomorrow pretty sure my SA is right I've gotten confirmation from BMW ED that my pick up date was on the 23rd and makes no sense for them to build it the same day

I would always trust the SAs. They just have more experience in that and can read the figures they see in their system.

When the hotline customer rep tells you 6/23 it actually is June, week 23, which would be June 2-6
So they just don't know any better... maybe BMW has to adjust their system to make it more clear.
