Just called out of curiosity and says " your vehicle is in the Paint shop with an estimated completion date of June 5th." Beat you by a day

Ours cars are probably close to each other on the line. Mine says the exact same thing. It used to say June 13th, but now sped up to the 6th.

I'm jealous and you even got to know where on the line your car was . They need to have cameras streaming from the factory but then again that might be a bad idea...

The cameras might not be such a bad idea, A buddy of mine order his GTR and Nissan sent him pictures and emails with details of the car's build. I honestly don't see why BMW being a luxury car company can't do the same or even go the extra mile. The "track my BMW" on bmwusa lags a lot. I would love to see some pics of the car's progress.

I think it is a good idea to provide more detailed information (but only if the whining does not increase when the car is held at the port before the official launch date )...
Knowing how it is in Germany, you guys at least get a website to track and a hotline (even both are a bit behind) and should thus be very happy already. Over there you have to ask the dealer - or alternatively: the car is there when it's there

This has to be the longest I have ever waited to get a car. I was sharing this with my CA the other day who told me that he had a customer who waited 3 years for the new F10 M5 as he had a E60 M5. I would not have been able to commit for that long. I've Been waiting since December of 2013
June is becoming the slowest month of them all lol

BMW Production Status hotline: Your Vehicle Production is complete and now waiting to be released to carrier

: Wooohooo!!!

Well my Bavarian Mistress is finally born and now on its way for temporary Welt Storage until our group arrives on June 23rd to pick up-17 days away How awesome would it be to get a picture coming off the line. I am already feeling the anxiety and have begun adjusting to Euro hours getting up at 4:30am every day and cant go back to sleep for the life of me. I have been working my A$$ off to make this trip a reality and with the help of other group members that have stepped up to assist in many ways we have put together an incredible 9 days of experiences. This will no doubt be my driving experience of a lifetime and so glad that I will be able to share with so many others just taking in the moments each day. I will be visiting the dealer on June 12th to wrap up the last of the paperwork before trip before I can finally sit back and relax. Just a funny thought I have of what our group at the Welt will look like at first sight of our cars just like this pic -->
