Once again the purpose of this M or any M is overlooked.
That is to be understated visually but make a statement with its Performance.
M cars do not seek attention the aftermarket responds to that.

If you work within certain areas of the company you can sign out new models and prototypes as long as you complete the on-line log. I have something from the fleet for evaluation but the most requested car was the prototypes for the Active Tourer by members with families.

This M4 and the others will be destroyed by Spring.

Seriously maybe you can post elsewhere or come up w/something more original.

So according to Red I shouldn't post my opinion on the car. Or maybe I should change my opinion every time a new picture or post comes out on it. Please no opinions on the car anymore. Everyone drink the cool aide and agree with Red.

I really dont even like the regular 4er so since it looks so similar, its not really standing out to me. I want to get a coupe this time but it looks sort of meh.

Anyone else not like the silver headlight housing? Looks like its from the 80s. Although the led bulbs look great, the corner or even the whole housing when no lights are on looks cheapo.

Any particular reason that they choose to destroy them rather than donate or sell them?

I love it but why can't they spend some time in the sound department? Why can't it sound like a GT-R or 991 TT. Both of those cars are turbo and they sound amazing. What happened to BMW, Mercedes and Audi? Why do they (new turbo gen) all sound like fart cans?!

Not without camouflage, but even with camouflage, the part that we love most about this M3 is visible. BMW just really did a superb job with this sedan.

First stage production prototypes. They test that everything is in perfect order run them for thousand and thousands of kilometres then they crush them.
Every car you see with camouflage or indeed factory vehicle will be destroyed.
Even the two cars in the promo films will be destroyed.
And no you can't get one.

Yikes! Such a crazy waste, but I suppose all of the manufacturers do that. I think it'd be more financially prudent to sell them - well at least the two promo cars - to execs or something.

i am sorry but which performance are you referring too, current mustang 5.0 has same performance as the current m3 and its 25-30k cheaper, i am just saying, i am a BMW fan too but come on, everyone here is OMG car is soo good to me it looks like an overpriced m-sport model w quad exhaust thats 10-20k more than a regular 3 or 4 series, remember its Marketing now not Motorsport

Performance can relate to many aspects of the car such as top speed , dynamics , steering etc.. The M4 Coupe is anything but an overpriced , glorified 435i.
I do not know the answer in the USA but people in Europe will probably want an M4 before even considering a Mustang.

IMO M is known to make really good looking cars.although the pics are underwhelming.

i think it should improve as we start to see production cars in the right color and rims. better cameras etc...
