So the perforations were, indeed, for ventilated seats? I've suspected that, but it was never confirmed. |

It is my understanding (as told to me by a couple of BMW reps) there is no active ventilation. The holes only allow passive ventilation. I was hoping for the option of actively cooled seats as on the 5/6-series, but no-joy. Well, per the reps I talked to.

Or perhaps it's because I live in Arizona and there isn't much that would help with the 115 degree temps anyways.

Probably right. Perhaps I should try them out later today since it will be in the mid 70's today.

That blue isn't doing it for me. The grey is nice, but I could take it or leave it as a color, but I guess that's better than just not liking it.
What I do like is that the doors don't have CF (or whatever would be the dashboard trim) on them. Also, I love the white interior. That'd be a lot of fun to have, but a beast of a thing to keep smart looking. All the best.

On the other hand, the M3 in Silverstone exterior! WOW. It looks so professional sitting there. You have to see it in the flesh. That's definitely the color I want. Now to find a complimentary interior color other than black or silverstone. Seeing this M3 in person really eliminated my initial color combo YMB/Silverstone. The SS interior there was way too dirty. I can see that get annoying fast. And black? I just don't think black does those seats justice. decisions... Well here are a couple snaps from my phone for ya. |

Agree with Mr2d and Sir Loin. That car would look absolutely perfect once the CF roof was on to add a little drama.
I'm also going for SS with SO interior, I think the rather conservative exterior colour allows one to be a bit more lively with the interior. I'm also thinking about having the part black/part silver wheel option rather than the ferric one shown (Though I've never been a fan of all black wheels) . I get the feeling that with SS + CF roof + part black wheels + SO interior = just the right balance of being understated and aggressive all at the same time

I am personnaly still debating between the black/balck chrome wheels and the grey/silver ones as the best match for my SSII exterior. IMO, the silver are more elegant while the black are sportier. |

I agree. I may switch from black wheels to silver wheels. Silver is a safer bet without seeing them in person.

However, Silverstone in the flesh just does it for me. I'm also glad I got to see both wheels in person. I'm not fond of either now. lol. |

I miss it. Carbon fiber in large quantities does nothing for me. I want another option for the dash.

My e90 is SSII with fox red and it is a stunning combo I'm sure the same with SSll and SO interior. I have had 3 M cars in Silverstone I love it that much. I wish I wasn't so burnt out on it.
