shop manual torque spec

i just downloaded a shop manual copy, and the torque spec is given like this

33 33 1AZ

what does it mean?

The "33 33" part of that number is the torque sheet for that category of components in the repair manual (which is based on which group of components are being addressed). Once on that particular torque spec sheet, you will most likely see a list of different items/fasteners with different torque specs - all in that same category. Each line item on the list will be identified by a different ID, with the nomenclature "XAZ" where "X" is some number 1. 2, 3, etc., which will be your reference link back to the main work document.
