All four wheels stolen, need some help
Hi All,
All my four wheels are stolen when my car sits in my complex's parking lot. I haven't been moving the car for two days and this happens. I already filed the online police report. I called my insurance company with evidence. BMW roadside says that the vehicle has been vandalized so they cannot help to tow it. Any help here is appreciated. Is there anything I can do about this? Thank you. |

I'm guessing you're submitting a claim? if so have a reputable body shop take care of it and tow it. you may need to have them buff out a few panels by looking at the pics. dont make it worse and try to jack it up if you don't have the equipment already.

At least they could've left it on bricks or something.
Those rotors are probably going to need to be replaced as well. That sucks, sorry to see that. |

That really sucks. There's a special place in hell for thieves.
From past personal experience, dragging a car like that onto a flatbed does quite a bit of additional damage. Document the heck out of it, be prepared to fight with your insurance and make sure you get a good shop to fix it. |

This sucks man, did the car have wheel locks? Legitimately one of my worst night mares which is why mine's garage kept. I also pay extra to park it in a garage every time i visit the city. Please keep us posted as to what happens. If I were you I'd scour the forum for a set of wheel or tires that someone is throwing away, heck you could even rush out and buy four spare tires to prevent the damage that would be caused by towing a car in this condition. OP they are literally going to drag your car onto the truck. As a poster above already said, document the hell out of everything

They shouldn’t drag that onto a flatbed. Call around and find a service that has spare wheels. This happens more than you can probably imagine and some tow shops keep wheels just for this occasion.

Geez, so sorry to see this.
Curious question, how does one get this car off the ground without more damage? I'm sure this has been thought of because it happens so much |

At least that's way I negotiated my situation with them. Towing a vehicle, without wheels, is going to cause more damage to the undercarriage and rear diff. |

That really sucks. Sorry that happened to you OP.
Do these cars even come with wheel locks? i don't really recall seeing any equipped with them. I've thought about getting the OEM set, are they sufficient or easily defeated by having their own set?

If they want them they're gone, only way is to slow them down with several lock styles.

Fucking savage and mike crates to boot. Op don't fret about the wheel locks one hit with a hammer and they are toast. I would def try to get some spare wheels, sorry man take the insurance money for wheels and tires and buy some sick aftermarket, you'll get a pretty penny for insurance if there is any silver lining

They're not that easy to remove without drawing attention and possible damaging the wheels, which was confirmed from a friendly neighborhood wheel thief. |
