Quick question.
Is anyone here live in Florida and is close to Champion Porsche? Let me know!

I'm already iffy on doing this out of State. I am extremely picky and don't tend to do used cars, regardless of how low mileage it is. I prefer holding out for my allocation 2024 and hope PTS is given to me so I can do Nardo Grey myself (it is in the computer built like that). However, if Champion is able to make something happen, I will consider it. Checked recently I am the only one on DTLA's list that is asking for PTS, everyone else is White, Black, 2 Arctic Grey and 1 GT Silver. The car comes close to what I have built out with Porsche DTLA, with a few things missing. Mag Wheels are missing and some interiors bits as well but interior stuff but it isn't a huge deal. Wheels I will most likely do FI-Rs again anyway. According to my uncle, my cousin's 997.2 GT3RS is from Champion Porsche and they have declined working with Porsche DTLA before so, I may not do it as it is a bit more of a hassle for me regardless. https://www.champion-porsche.com/veh...fl-id-51714134

The nemesis of this thread is there's a constant need to mention the fugly G80/2 to keep it alive, while purifying rest of the thread with positive alternatives to forget this abomination.

Your own eyes will want to see it anyway - including the underbody, assuming it’s still available. GT3RS’s are probably going to be approaching a half million dollars once they start changing hands.. further inflating gt4rs prices. just imo. |

If you do have the time, I appreciate it. The chances of me doing it is still not great since I am very picky and rather meticulous but there are a few things I need to know. Take any or as much photos as you can or areas you have your own concerns with and post it here. Is the car PPFed or not. Main area is obviously most of the front end, hood, wheel arcs especially the front wheel arcs due to the design. Any sort of road rash or damage present are the main two things. The other would be if the car has been redlined already or not, that would give me an idea if the first owner just didn't care enough during the 144 or so miles he owned it to better run the engine in. I guess a DME report would do but that would be down the line if I get extremely serious with it. If the people there are being picky about all of that, or wondering why you are asking all of that. You can tell them a customer from Porsche Downtown LA is interested, you are spotting for me. I can hand you my CA's info. Thanks again~ minn19 Almost all of the GT4RSs that I have seen on sale currently, have less than 500 miles on the odometer. It is a tragedy these cars are being given to people who don't appreciate them like we do. It is also the same with the Benz GT-R Black Series. There are a lot of them on sale too and all of them are below 1,000 miles. These cars are trophies to the first owners not even driven. The fact that I have more miles on my GT4 compared to them is actually sad. I know I baby my car but I still drive it (at night).

Best of luck arcades. Hopefully you have time to do your due diligence and decide if it's the right car. Maybe they will let you put a deposit down and go see it in person?
As I'm sure you know, nice spec GT cars don't last long on the market. Checked cargurus and it's only been listed for 3 days and 7 people on the site have it bookmarked.

Yeah I know. What I have noticed is, the RS cars that aren't in crazy colors aren't staying around. The Acid Green and Speed Yellow GT4RS at DTLA is still there but the Black GT4RS has been sold last week to some saxophone person. I doubt I will still to be honest. I am still holding out hope that PTS allocation will be given to me, which would just make it easier. Really don't want to make the trip to Florida. Good news is, at least I know Nardo has been done. Iuno why that makes me feel better but got to see the photos posted on IG by, who I assume to be one of the CAs at Champion Porsche. Pretty sure I typed it here, if I am spending the amount I am, I prefer to get the car exactly the way I want. This car comes extremely close but it bothers me (oddly) I am not the sole owner and someone else has had it before me. Also, LED is the main option missing that annoys me lol.

DTM season should be pretty epic again this year. It's a hell of a lineup

I had a really nice visit to Champion this afternoon. The Nardo grey Gt4rs was in perfect condition from my inspection. From the factory there is a small piece of PPF behind the front wheels.
The first owner who I was told is an older gentleman and repeat customer drove the car down to Miami and realized the car was too loud for his taste. Without the LED lights the car perhaps looks cleaner as there are no headlight washers. I did my best with the photos and I have plenty more lol |

that is a nice spec but i'm biased as my .2 gt3 is very similar (chalk, black wheels, pccb)
headlights can always be swapped out for the nicer ones if you want. my buddy is doing that to his 4RS.

I don't know if anybody would attempt this on GT4 RS. We did a couple Matrix Retrofits in EU and a couple US Full Matrix headlights activation on 992 GT3. It took us all day to figure out the coding for US 992. |
