Who is tuning your car? What issue? I have not needed any support from ecutek directly.

I'm having a ball with ecutek. Could not be happier. My car is being tuned on flex fuel and it's borderline out of control but, puts a huge smile on your face kinda fast.

From day 1 working with Ian @ bend calibration has been A+! Every revision feels great! Everytime I upload a new map is like christmas. No issues whatsoever. The car keeps getting faster and smoother everytime. Very noticeable gains. Then some revisions are leaps. So, I don't get what could be the problem?

Been posted everything on my insta and tiktok. Maybe, it's time to make a post with all the data here too.

I'm gapping FB0 E85 /Meth GTR, FBO M4 E60 mhd jb4 stack map 7, etc the list goes on.

Something isn't right. I really hope you get it resolved dude. Because, I can't say enough great things about bend calibration and ecutek.

With his specific calibration ID, there are some pressure ratio maps that aren't defined correctly and is causing a cylinder fill limit.

It's at no fault of the tuner. I have nothing against ECUTek as mad as I sound. These things happen, it's a part of R&D. My situation just calls for a complete tune to compete in a season closer event. Will be switching back once all that is done. I was just hoping for a completed tune before race day, but the. Nothing ever really goes my way anyway.

Ok, all I know is that the experience you describe and mine are worlds apart.

Are you tuning flex fuel or pump gas?

Was trying to do flex fuel, but we started on pump gas first.

My pump gas tune was complete wIthin 5 days or so. It could have been done quicker if it wasn't for my schedule.

Car feels great on 91 octane, very smooth and I can beat it up all day if I want to. The flex fuel on the other hand is an animal!

Just sounds kinda odd. I never had a single issue that you describe or any issue at all for that matter. But, I'm just FBO stock turbos so that could be it. Are you running custom turbos or something?

My stage 1 Ecutek pump gas bespoke tune was just wrapped up today, 4 revisions later, and were in mid-October 2020. A generic base map and software first flashed onto my car way back in early July.

I'm a true believer in this tuning software platform. Was I anxious and discouraged at times?

Yes, absolutely.

Builds never run on time. Shops and tuners are juggling many projects. COVID's disruption on supply chain further complicates schedules, planning, and timelines.

Ecutek gives tuners so many safe and sound ways to get you to your desired goals. With that said, patience and perseverance is key.

What do you mean your turbo pressure map is messed up. Make it stock and start again. Post a pic of the table please.

Does he have stock turbo's? Do you need to change the pressure ratio maps?

PS2+

Yes I do need to change some of the PR limit maps and I cannot edit them if they are not defined correctly.

I take it you've talked to ECUTek about this right?

Worst comes to worse, have a remote coder update his ISTEP and thus having a new CALID and boom, problem solved.

Here's an additional data point I wanted to contribute given the small (but growing) number of Ecutek-powered F8x cars out there. No bolt-ons, tune-only, 93 octane, and runs were capped at 22 psi. More details are in the YouTube description.

Nice numbers tom! That's insane for stage 1 setup.

Great to see more ecutek cars running strong!

Most people use a remote tuner for their Ecutek tune. I have seen BendCalibration recommended a lot and I plan on using them since they offer a flex fuel kit with a filter.

Alexander Roy @petuned hands down. Knows both hardware and software. Been custom tuning S55 motors since 2014-2015. Can tune for Motorsports.

Can't go wrong with him.

I'm in NJ and I'll be switching over from BM3 to Ecuteck next season at Felix Tuned. You can find him on IG. He does the flex fuel setups as well

Ian @ bend calibration is my tuner. I think my results so far speak for his tuning abilities. All remote tuned.

This tune seems super complex. I'm having issues with stage 1 OTS on altitude w/ BM3, should I consider ECUTEK? Anyone make the jump from Bm3? pros/cons?

Do they have OTS maps?

If you come down to Colorado Springs, I can tune your car using ECUTek
