Run a conditioner with E85 like this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Lucas-Oil-105.../dp/B004FW77F0

to help prevent your injectors from drying up and sticking open. They still stick with 91/93, so its not a fix-all, but will help.

There are plenty of PI options. For DI, there's been maybe two or more people running the compatible M5 injectors; see https://www.facebook.com/MHDtuning/p...88413828087265

Though, M5 injectors won't be capable of pushing more fuel volume unless you upgrade the factory dual HPFP setup. No such upgrade exists at present time.

Awron was reportedly working on a potential DI injector upgrade 3 years ago, but nothing was ever finalized.

Apparently Spool is doing a dual fx-150, they're HPFP, setup for the S55. They told me they had a few cars in the wild already, haven't provided specifics yet, I asked. I want to say I found 2 other options the other night, but can't find the bookmarks right now.

I like the M5 injector idea and familiar with running dual walbros on my past VR6 turbo project. Is there more details on this?

About to install upgraded fuel lines along with my flex fuel sensor from fuel-it. The parts just came in for my ecutek setup.

Good to know this in development for the S55! I've read about their N55 and B58 HPFP upgrade kit, which also happens to be their FX-150 unit.

Hit up ian@bendcalibration.com for Ecutek tuning options.

Here's some of the fuel kit options they sell:

Do you only need the flex fuel kit to run the flex fuel e85 tune?

You only need the basic ecutek kit but I'd recommend one of the ultimate kits for sure since they have a fuel filter to help prevent injector failure. If you have a stock fuel line, the "Stock Fuel Line - Ultimate Ecutek Kit" is the one to have for a plug and play fuel line setup. Attached is the Custom Fuel Line - Ultimate Kit in my M2C from Bend Calibration.

I run it too but only for the past 1k ish miles and it actually works pretty good. At first I forgot I put it in the tank and a couple days later when I started my car cold it was idling incredibly smooth and I thought something was wrong but then it dawned on me that the conditioner is probably why haha

Also you can get it at O'reillys for $1 cheaper than on Amazon

I've been running it for months now and had some track time. However, I did run a couple tanks without it and didn't notice a difference. In theory, it should add the lubrication aspect that you would get from an oil based fuel like 93/91 to prevent from drying out the injectors. The Lucas Oil shit is oily, I get a drop or two on my fingers when I screw the cap back on.

I think I got it an hour ago...a stuck injector. I was doing the first 4th gear log-pull on the last revision of my E85 tune and the engine went to sh!t... Runs chuggy and rough, blowing smoke, tail pipes all wet with fuel, tank gauge going down quick. I'm only 1500 miles running on E85, and I've used Liquid Power in every tank except this one (ran out, only drove about 60mi without it). Luckily I got the car home and parked. I then tried the OTS E30 Map which also barely ran, same sh!tty idle, then conked out.

I pulled a BM3 log and my bank 2 lambda is like 10 when bank 1 is 14, or something like that.

PM me if you've had the exact same thing, and let me know how deep I'm in the hole.

I think it happened around 6900RPM in this log:

And here's right after:

You're dumping fuel, injector stuck open.

I figure I need to pull plugs, find the fouled one, and to swap out that one injector. Is that the right fix, or am I missing something (I watched the yt how-to vid)???

Should only be one plug. You can swap it, but you'll be doing the work twice; it's bad.

How much of the Lucas oil conditioner do you pour in per full e85 tank?

Bottle says 3oz, I stick to that.

I just added 3oz. Wish it was easier to pour in. It gets kind of messy.
