I'm sorry that people keep encountering these people and moreover, that they exist. Every time I see this thread pop up, I think that a scammer has struck.

I did a thing - I used "Friends & Family" for a part. Got lucky. It was a $39 prayer that the part for my E63 was real. It arrived in the mail about a month and a half later. I thought by that point it wasn't coming, so was super happy. It's a custom carbon fiber inlet tube kit. One of maybe 6 in the world. The guy had sold his E63 and just had it laying around the house.
Do NOT take my example and use it, please. I was super lucky and it was a "small" dollar amount. I considered the $39 as lost as soon as I sent it, just hoping it was a real part, really on the way to me. In other news, my love/hate relationship with this thread continues. Glad to see people still bumping it. "There's a new 18 year old every day."
