Wavetrac differential.

It is the best thing on my car. Period. Nothing else comes close. I highly recommend it.

Not for the Wavetrac. It's plug and play. The only thing you need to do is code out the factory e-diff. One of the online coders can do it for like $120

Direct port pro meth kit was installed along with the Motiv reflex and EU5 injectors. Time to make a little bit of jam😉

I don't have any of my own that the shop took unfortunately. Similar setup to this though. Except braided lines.

That's when it all started...



Towed the car to a local shop here in Chicago called EP3 Motorsports in St Charles IL. They've been absolutely awesome. I had them tear the car down and then we went from there to see what my options were. I've never built a car this extensively before and they've never built an S55 this in depth before either.

EP3 told me that I was lucky that the rod didn't play a game of peek a boo with the block, my options were to either build the motor or swap in a used one. I decided to follow one of my dreams and go balls to the wall. Mod list is as follows

BMS chargepipes
SSR Intakes
Eurocharged catless downpipes
AA Equal Length midpipe
Dinan heat exchanger
Mosselman oil thermostat
EOS Charge Air Cooler
EOS intake manifold
ASR Engineering Kratos KRAS55Bi turbos
ECUTEK tuned by Bend Calibration
Zeitronix flex fuel with Bend Calibration fuel filter kit
DSS carbon fiber driveshaft
DSS built upgraded axles
SSP Spec X Package with Viton seals and gaskets
Power flex Diff bushings
Turner dual mount diff bracket
MaxPSI Crank Hub with VTT CBC
Built bottom end (Mahle forged stock CR pistons, Carillo connecting rods, ACL rod bearings, ARP head studs)
LA Sleeves sleeved block
Headgames valves, springs and retainers with outside work port and blending
Bimmer MILVs (intake lift valves)
Prometh Direct port meth system with Motiv reflex

I'll be updating this thread as the build progresses and we get some dragy pulls, 1/2 mile runs, and 1/4 mile runs in!

Can't speak to what the OP spent, but I've been building my car for the past year or more and am in the $40-$50K range with many similar modifications.

I always try to refrain from tallying up my ball park mod costs for fear of self loathing and financial panic. But i guess noragrets!

Of course looking back would I plan on spending this amount of money to modify the car, probably not I'd just move up to the next car I've been wanting Porsche etc... I haven't got to drive the car yet as still working out some issues, but I'll be making a separate post with all the details.
